We had to do that going back up Vail pass from RT. But in our case, there was pretty much dead stop traffic from a truck on fire. Truck was getting hot towing the crawler with the lack of air flow so dad put it in 4lo to keep the rpm's high to keep the fan going.

Otherwise if we go 30 mph up Vail pass towing, we're setting a land speed record LOL

    Plethora of "useless" shit
    Thanks.

Looks like it's about the same price as the Rigid 20", but I have read that the lights coverage and color is much better than an equivalent Rigid. If I suck it up and pay the 5+ bills I will probably go that route.

Baja designs has a thread where you can get some gently used stuff. Only lights I'll buy from here on out is Baja designs.

The SR8 is very bright for a combo light.

The 6spd seemed ok when I was towing 5k lbs (and the close-ratio gearing made a hell of a lot more sense) moving down to Pueblo. A mountain pass would be a miserable 45mph experience but doable.

I posted a separate thread for this but due to a good suggestion figured I'd ask here too. I'm in the Boulder area and need help installing my ARB bumper for my 98 Tacoma. I dont have tools big enough to break my recovery points loose and am sorta in over my head with the install. Anyone willing to lend a hand in exchange for some beers?
