no, this wasnt a ford repair.... this was a crackhead P/o.... if toyota actually made a car that was competitive in rally and you can still get parts for, i would have stayed in the family. AE86's are considered classsics and are uber rare, Celicas are cheap but not plentiful and more and more parts are becoming NLA by the day, and since the end of the celica there hasnt been a replacement 2-door sports car until the 86/FRS/BRZ, and those are still far too new to be had for decent prices

Not sure what plans the owner has for it but if I hear that it's for sale I'll mention it here.

Owner of this 2000 runner offered to sell it to me today. He's bringing the title to my work tomorrow. We agreed on a price and shook on it. The battery came loose and slide into the belt which resulted in a hole in the battery. Now it won't start, he had it towed in this past Friday. I'm sure something is shorted out or blown. He's not interested in fixing it. I'm gonna rob the 4 brand new tires off of it for my wife's runner then I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with it. It's a 3.4L with a manual trans. 4x4. I wish it had the Elocker.
