In the heroic or hard level PvE stuff I as well as KF I prefer the Defender.
If im doing Strikes or needing to carry someone in CoE ill do Sunbreaker.
The Striker I save for PvP.

It seems my best play style for PvP is choosing loadout based on map.

Smaller maps its TLW or Hawksaw
Mid to long is Hung Jury or Hawksaw

Secondary is either a counterbalance or TYS

Heavy is Machine gun or Arc edge

Im still so very new to PvP and only really played IB. I just started doing Rumble in the last few days. There are still so many options one can run. Im yet to put the shotgun in the primary and just go full CQB on people. I just feel I perform at mid to long range better. Its probably because of how much time I spent playing MLG with the BR.

Mine fires to slow to be effective in PvP. I like it but it's not the best gun I've got for PvP.

*EDIT* I just checked the stats on mine and it has a much slower fire rate and about the same impact as my Mida or Inward Lamp which makes the time to kill useless (in my case) in PvP.

Exactly. Defender Titan is perfect for TTK raid. Striker is a motherfucker in PvP. Hell I prefer it over Sunbreaker since you can shoulder charge damn near everyone lol (I fucking hate getting shoulder charged lol).

I can't use TLW effectively enough to go into PvP with it. I wish I could since it's OP but I just don't possess the skill to use it. Most every map I'll use The Inward Lamp, Mida, Hawksaw, or one of my God roll Grasp of Maloks.

Usually I snipe no matter the size of the map. I wish I would have thought to record me no scope sniping a Titan that was just about to shoulder charge me the other day. Buddy was standing right behind me and saw the whole thing and said "how the fuck did you do that?" I told him "I don't have a fucking clue but it was cool as shit lol". But with the introduction of the Trespasser... it is now my go to secondary on smaller maps. It's a shotgunners worst nightmare. The way I use it is fire off on round and reload. Then you get the proc for the double round for anyone that is close and it's a one trigger kill. They just melt.

For heavy I'll always use a machine gun. Everyone seems to favor rockets so I'll just wait the rocket barrage out then run around mowing people down with the machine gun. Super Good Advice is the perfect machine gun for PvP (and PvE) since missed shots are returned to the mag. So if you don't get killed in PvP you can keep the machine gun out for most of the rest of the match and never run out of ammo.

I really wish they would bring the Vex forward. That is my all time favorite gun in the game. Before they nerfed it, it would melt people in PvP. If you had one you were a god. But I won't disagree it needed a nerf. It was too OP at the time but it sure was fun lol.

I didnt care for the super good advice but i didnt use it in PvP. I so rarely get heavy ammo cause im usually trying to kill everyone at the heavy weapon spawn with a titan smash.

This is why you don't see a lot of people using The Hung Jury in PvP. It fires to slow therefore it makes the time to kill too slow. Even though it has higher impact it takes more time to get off your shots. So someone using a high rate of fire pulse rifle or a fast firing scout rifle (I'll leave hand cannons out of this) will kill you first. I can't remember the last time I was killed with a Hung Jury.

If I pick up heavy I'll use it. But I'm kind of like you. I'll watch the radar and if I see a bunch of people running for heavy I'll snipe them off of it. Easy kills especially with explosive rounds.

I assure you, i do that only cause it was done to me in IB. Not sure if im lucky to have started PvP in IB for this game or not.
Normal PvP is like the world today. Everything is in the same level and even the loser gets a trophy.

They obviously need that god roll with stats like that...

That will be the same kid that bags you cause he happened to walk up just after you dropped 2 of his team and stuck in a reload with no grenades.

On a side note. I've never received hate mail in game. I've tried since I'll teabag or do some stupid emote (especially in trials) but I've never gotten any. I want someone to send me hate mail since I think it's funny. Buddy of mine got one that said "hope you get hit by a train motherfucker". I want that lol!

That was my friends in MLG. Constant 1v1 bro? Ill own you bro in PMs.

It was always my buddy Alan. Kid had what it took to go pro. We would always go and watch his matches on MLG Guardian after. It was awesome seeing him just take apart and have a bk rage quit.

I used to talk shit in halo all the time. Someone would get pissed for getting teabagged and start talking shit. I'd usually say something stupid like "actually I'd be playing a lot better but you need to tell your mom it's time to come home. She's fucking up my game with her head bobbing up and down". Childish I know but funny just the same.

I got the obligatory "fuck off cunt" from one cat because I was a ghost putting my ghost dick all over his face in our match with the Hunter cloak. I kept kneeling and popping this kid because he wasn't observant. Good players still see me, shitty players always get got when I'm cloaked. I have to admit, it sucks when someone else is running that perk, but I usually notice that blue-ish blob running around.

Yeah I love getting the "I see you" metal in PvP. Right now hunters kind of have it bad with the inclusion of the mites flying around your head. Kind of makes going invisible a moot point since I can see you lol.

I just got my download code for ROI, now I wish I had been mining and grinding more since I got TTK two months ago. Day late, dollar short. At least I get a spiffy black Gjallahorn and a cool sparrow.

You'll be surprised how fast you should level up with the expansion. If you have a set of gear you like now, if it's anything like the last few expansions, you'll be infusing blues with higher light levels into your stuff. I'm keeping all my Trials gear until I find a set of new armor I like. Trials starts back up on the 30th so I'll most likely be picking up that armor if I like it. If I don't like it I'll just infuse into the stuff I have right now.
I really wish they would have brought the VoG armor set forward since I "personally" think it's still the best looking armor set in the game. Especially the WL armor.

I'm glad they're bringing back the GH but, in a way, I don't like how they are doing it. Now everyone will have one so that kind of takes the fun (and exclusivity) out of trying to get one. Hell, I ran VoG and it wasn't until my 52nd time through that I finally got a Fatebringer. I got a GH on my second time and a Vex on my fourth.
