Any bed racks out there that will allow me to still use my tonneau cover? Preferably one that goes about the height of the rear window? I'm hoping to put a rooftop tent up there and still want to be able to put my camping gear in the bed and have them protected from the weather/thieves.

I have emailed a few companies that make bed racks and everyone so far states they need to come off. You may want to think about getting in contact with a fabricating company and possibly doing a exo-skeleton frame for the bed rack and to add some protection for the bed. I may go that route just due to me liking my tri-fold.

There is a fabricator in El Paso that makes them. A local member on here or one of the Facebook pages volunteered his truck to get it designed and done.

Are you talking about the factory tonneau cover? If so, I haven't seen any that will work with it, but I have seen one bed rack that will work with an aftermarket tonneau.

I believe you can use the kb voodoo fab bed rack with a soft roll up tonneau. I saw a guy on Instagram with that combo. IG: @inferno.overland

I've received message from kb Voodoo fabrication that a new rack system compatible with the Toyota OEM tonneau cover will be ready by December. http://www.kbvoodoo.com/

I'm pretty confident that the @KB Voodoo rack will work with a soft roll-up tonneau. Well confident enough to give it a try at least.

It works as long as the cover stays confined to the inside of the bed. It just can't go out over top of the side rails.

Love yals but I asked you guys a while back if you could make them at roof height since I'll be using mine primarily for my 12 ft paddle board. Think you guys said design wouldn't hold up due to height.

That is correct. It is designed to handle a RTT but only at the height it is currently. We'd have to rethink the design to make it cab height.
