I have a yamaha superjet. Very fun. I used to ride the surf with mine. Working on it. I can't think of anyone off the top of my mind. Usually CL has a few guys work on them in their garage because most dealerships won't touch them. You can PM me if you need some advice to figure out the problem. If it is an old ski like a kawi 440 , 550 or 650 and it won't run worth a shit, I'll just rebuild the entire motor. I've rebuilt a top and bottom end. I used to work on them when I had time. There a superjet sxr facebook page if you are looking for parts.

I have two skis that haven't run in years. One is a 85 550 and another is a 88 superjet I think. Loved riding them when they ran. Just don't have the time and knowledge to fix them and my dad wants them gone. Looking to sell them or work out a deal where they fix the superjet and I'll give them the trailer and Kawasaki. So if you know anyone interested

It would be easier to sell them as not running. The time and money to make a few $$ more will pretty much be a wash or you might even lose a bit of money. Wash them inside and out. Take some good photos and a guy that can flip them will sell them next year as running skis will buy them from you. It could be a simple fix in a rare case, but old skis the rubber parts often die out.

I'd pull the wheel and try to peel off as much as you can. Chances are the brakes will just burn it all off, but better to try and remove as much as you can so it doesn't gunk up the pad and create a problem down the road.

Plasti-dip comes off super easy especially if it's overspray, just rub it off with a towel and it'll come right off. That's actually why I opted to use actual paint on my wheels, so it doesn't peel off. I used plastic-dip on my stock bumpers and emblems though.

I painted my wheels when they were on my truck, just masked off the inside edge of the tires with painter's tape and put pieces of brown paper bag behind the wheel to protect the inside. I saw a few days ago in another thread, a guy stuck playing cards in-between the wheel and the tire to protect from overspray, looked like a much faster method than trying to tape it off.

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
    It'll likely burn off.
