Still doesn't answer my question.... Other than cosmetics and price tag, what is the difference between OR and PRO?

I think the Pro is pretty sweet but I thought it was supposed to sit slightly higher than my Off Road. Am I wrong about that because I'm not seeing it here.

His previous one was a 2015 2WD... for him it was a significant change... first comment from him that it did not feel as quick as his older one...I told him to step harder on the gas pedal, lol.

I am traveling and will not be able to see it in person until Saturday

It's awesome no matter what the ride height is. I did think it was supposed to be a bit taller than my 16 4x4 Off Road though.

I've only put about 15 miles on it, but I think it's a great truck so far. I am happy with the purchase for sure.

LOL that IS the difference. You can find the differences over and over on this forum. The color and the leather sold me. It's a great truck. I barely paid more than the most expensive trd sport I saw on the lot.

    Still waiting for it
    Those that have orders in-?
How long till you got an allocation? I found a large dealer (Stamford CT) that hadn't been allocated one yet. My logic was they would likely be due for one soon. I put my deposit down 2 weeks ago, still no allocation... Probabilisticly, will I get one?

Well I'm in Canada and apparently (according to all the dealers i've talked to hear) there will only be about 260 released in all of Canada over the next year.

The first dealer I had a deposit with said they had no idea when they would get one but they thought they'd get one "sometime before June 2017.".

The dealer I ended up with is actually the closest to me and a sales rep there that does most of their Tacoma sales had ordered two in Gray way way back in early 2016 for 2 clients he knew personally that wanted them but 1 had recently cancelled so I jumped on that order (as a call in) before he started phoning back people on his waiting list. According to him he is getting the first Gray AT in the next 2 weeks then the second (mine) in about 1-3 weeks after. Besides those he thinks they will get 2 more over the year but doesn't know when.

Took me about 8 weeks since I sat down with the sales guy, until I picked it up yesterday....and here it is sitting in its cave.

I'm still waiting on mine, but can anyone that has one record a bit of the exhaust sound? I'm curious to hear what the final product sounds like. Thanks in advance.

I put in an order on September 5th, my dealer informed me by September 10th that my truck would be built on October 9th, and delivered to the lot by October 27th.

I love mine. It just looks badass. I'm still getting used to the GEN 3 though and I think it is still getting used to me. The throttle lag is supposed to adjust around 1200 miles or so apparently. I only have 200 miles on it. That's the only issue I have presently. I love the electric sliding rear window. And of course, the leather smells awesome! I just wish it had a compartment for my sunglasses like the GEN 2's...or maybe it does and I just haven't found it yet!
