The lead man said he didn't do much of anything hell the material lists are still on the board from before i left. the other dude tried to make it sound like he'd done alot but when he told me what he'd done i knew there wasn't much there. it's been that way for most of the almost 7 years i've been there. the boss will say almost nothing to them it's me that he'll question why things take so long knowing the other two aren't pulling their weight. another reason i want to at least get out of where i'm at even if i find something else on the airport

Oh, well.... I was glad it was just the tire.... heard something go whomp, whomp, sounded like metal, in the wheel well and was concerned it might have been something to do with the suspension or something. Whatever it was, it sure cut a nice hole in the tire.

Asked the one tire guy about getting a new donut tire for the car..... and he said he can't get them.... ONLY place is the STEALERSHIP

That's why I replace tires every 5 years , I go by the mfg date code

 

it was typical i'd hoped when i got back things would have changed hah! i was wrong

 

The tires are only about 5 years old.... I'm just concerned about the spare.... out of sight, out of mind

I need to find a "new" spare for the taco too... but it's only 9 years old

 

i'm sitting here with the laptop and m little girl comes up to me with her big brown eyes, tail wagging, and a tennis ball in her mouth. it breaks my heart to tell her no ball she looks so crestfallen but she's limpimg bad enough i made a vet appt for wednesday to get her checked. i believe she's sprained a toe or something while chasing the ball

 

You should be able to fit a full size tire under the bed in the spare tire carrier . I know on mine I can safely stow a 265/75 - 16 in the spare tire carrier

 

new tirs will be in this week if i had some way i'd give you my spare tire and wheel they're only 3-4 years old

 

this is for a car? i thought you meant your truck i mean that doesn't make it any better but my truck spare wouldn't work for a car

 

replace tires in 5 years? hell i replace them when there's no tread on them.

Been a weird weather day here today from nasty looking skies like what you find in the Midwest and dry lightning strikes . tried working out today but to warm and humid , even working on my Taco or Camaro wasn't advised

However I received this nice item from UPS this morning

Look at the date /mfg code on the sidewall , tire mfgs recommend replacing tires every 5-7 years

 

well when it rains it poors my mother just called and let me know my cousin (really her cousin) just passed and she inherited her house, a lot, and her belongings so now i get to deal with selking a house in NC and everything else not going to be easy with no leave to take

 

mine are usually worn out well before then
