went from 17.5 in the city to a solid 19.4. Ive gassed up 4 times with shell regular since the TSB. It feels more like a truck than ever now. Really happy!

I lost some mpg's right after the TSB update, but now about a month after the update its back up to where it was. From what I read in another thread, the ecu needs to relearn your driving habits and such.

Crap gas...I gassed up at a station in N. Charleston SC not to long ago, price was cheap, it must have had more than 10% ethanol, truck ran like shit and mileage dropped to 16-17 from 19-20.

These engines don't like more than 10%

You're upsetting yourself over a 3 mile trip..... Show me a full tank that represents that mileage number and i'll jump on your upset train with you.

I'm getting similar city mileage with a manual. Same tires and air dam removed. Best I've seen on extended highway drive has been about 15.9 mpg.

I get about 25+ mpg on high test 100% gas...I usually baby it like an old man cause I like the mpg's...But the transmission does it's gear hunting constantly.

However I've noticed when I do give it more gas the mileage drops off to 21-22 mpg or so but it's runs/shifts better...

It's a trade off...lower gas mileage equals better running/shifting and good gas mileage equals poor transmission performance.

is this what the ecu says or what youre acutally getting? I am gonna run a tank and divide the miles I got by the amount I fuel up with. should give me a real number as to what Im really getting.. I think the "mileage" from the truck is not accurate.
