Your coil got wet and is probably causing your delay. I'm not sure if these motors use one main coil or "coil on plugs," but I would look into this.

anytime i work on a flood vehicle, i check to see if the air filter is wet... if it is, i replace the filter and mass air flow meter. change the oil trans and diff fluids, remove the spark plugs and spin the engine over without spark plugs to remove water from cylinders. make sure there is no water on ignition coils or wires, replace spark plugs and try to start.

if you already have it running and have replaced the spark plugs my next guess would be the maf.

Pull each plug wire off one at a time if pulling one off makes it run worse, you know that one's working. If one being pulled off doesn't change the engine it's probably messed up

Plus these engine use coil packs, so no plug wires. Second if you pull the coil packs one at a time it's gonna run like shit as you'd be down one cylinder, provided you are still alive after playing trying this.

If you got water in the tailpipe up in the cat converter, thers a sensor in there...
The sensor will foul if water got to it.

    Can't tell if serious......

OP, there's a bunch of static going on here. It would seem like you may be better off taking your truck to a certified mechanic and getting this handled properly. Your vehicle is very expensive and without being there to look at it, it's nearly impossible to get it squared away properly. Every incident with water can be different depending on depth, speed, time spent in water, angle, etc....

Do this right. Just dish out a little cash to a qualified person so you know it's done right. Not saying some of these ideas aren't good, just saying in my opinion, you'd be better off letting someone with lots of experience handle it.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.

It's actually safer and easier since it's a coil pack.

OP, this is a cel. If this is illuminated, you need to get the codes read.

You should also check for any blown fuses in the engine bay.

I would remove all the coil packs, open the air box up, and let it sit like that over night. Then try it again...if the cel isn't on.
