Congrats on your acquisition! If you are unsure of what a 'locker' is, it is a device that enables you to 'lock' the differential so both rear wheels pull together.

    None...yet
Thanks all... Yes, I was fortunate to have received such a vehicle (only has 13k miles as Dad was no longer comfortable driving). I was asking as I saw a post referencing "lockers" and commenting how much a 2wd could do. So, bear with me here. I assume then that is a feature only applicable to 4wd, and wouldn't rear wheels "push" rather than pull?

Pretty sure the Sport only has the E-LSD....not the mechanical LDS. In fact...I think all Tacos from '09+ have E-LSD. The OR has the A-Trac as well. I don't know if the OR PR has the A-Trac though. Someone will have to fill in the blank for me on that one.

Yeah you're correct 09 & up sports have the E-LSD, older than 09 has the mechanical LSD.
I had mentioned in an earlier post that the Off Road had the locker, just left it out of that post.

Yes. The rear will push. By pull together, I meant the power was distributed evenly between both rear wheels opposed to a limited slip or open differential. This is used on 2wd also.
    I should been more clear.

No issues with mine, maybe a little power loss but I still think it has plenty of power. The transmission cruises fine, doesn't search for the right gear to be in. The gas mileage isn't too bad, I get mid to high 17's & that's about 50/50 highway & city. I can get 20 on the highway, of course this is by adding the tires size difference (14.6% for me) to the miles traveled to find out the true miles traveled. To & from work all week I drive 210 miles & when I get home Friday I still have a quarter tank.

Just got my 35s thrown on today and it feels factory smooth still didn't really notice any lag when getting up too speed maybe a slight lag that's barley noticeable unless you're really thinking about it.
