For those of you who applied for the permit, did you guys get the sticker mailed to you yet?

 

Still waiting. I emailed them asking last week, no reply. Going to stop by the office.

 

I was approved and pass is in the mail on the way.

 

I've been approved for a while now, but no packet. Going to drive down to the office tomorrow. Hopefully you have better luck than me.

 

I applied over 2 weeks ago and I called multiple times to follow up but no answer, also sent 3 emails then final received a respond of approval. I too might just drive down there tomorrow and see if I can pick it up.

 

I'm remember reading that if you're approved, you can access the gate combos. If anyone asks about your sticker (which I kinda doubt will happen) just login the website on your phone or print screen your approval with vehicle info

Edit* don't remember how good cell service is out there, print screen prolly better

 

You can, I've had code access for a while now. I just know it would be my luck to get a ticket for not having the sticker.

 

Is this open for all? Would kids be okay?

Just got my permit came in the mail today. Quick question though, so the permit allows access to Kaena point only on the Mokuleia side, Not yokohama beach side correct?

 

Yes. Only north shore side. don't know if Waianae side has a gate though.

I may try come down @polekasta depending on my school work this week. Hopefully not too much

 

For those who are planning on coming on Saturday, let's plan on meting up at the gate between 9 to 9:30. For those who plan to come in later, I'm thinking on setting up in the D5 or D6 area. check your map for the area.

Food wise, lunch will be bring your own. As for dinner, should we do pot luck style or dinner on your own also? I don't mind pot luck so respond please.

 

Im game for what ever majority choices. Pot luck sounds tasty though for dinner.

 

Went out yesterday and it was dry and the sand was packed in good. I think @k3v11n and his pre runner can make it thru hahah happy birthday bro
