    So after skimming this thread and finding your issue to be the hid kit. I have to question when you installed the kit what did you do with the the open side stock bulb connector that wasn't used? Did you tape it up or did you leave it open?

    All factory bulb connectors were used. Nothing was left open.TRS and Morimoto have a pre made harness that puts a relay for each ballast. Those relays get their switching power from the factory plugs, and draw the igniting power from the battery via a fused source .

    There are no open ends, no cut or spliced wires. Everything is OEM style plugs with rubber seals, like factory.

    I just could not believe how he got treated by Toyota....! Holy Batshit Superman..!!
    I'm glad his insurance saved him.... I think in the long run it might have a good idea to just walk away from the truck and take the heat for the lease non-payment, etc... That's what I might have done...

    That way THEY have to take ME to court to get the lease cancellation fee , etc...

    If I walked from the lease, I'd be out my down payment,my truck I traded, all the payments and the cancellation fee.

    There's also a buyout price at anytime during the lease. I'd sell or trade in the truck and see how far off you are from the buyout price. You may find that you're rightside up.

    Trs is going to replace my melted led driver with the new 2stroke LEDs for 42 bucks.

    yea for the trouble their product has caused you. they should be trying to do whatever they can to make you happy. I never had any interest in their products but I would NEVER even think of purchasing anything from them if their idea of customer support is to charge you for a new product after the one they sold you malfunctioned.
