Joined the 500# squat club!!

 

I joined the 500# club too. 105lb bench, 150lb squat, and 250lb deadlift. Basically, i am a beast.


But for reals, that's a insane number to squat. Good job, and I hope your knees still love you.

 

Torn acl from soccer right knee, torn meniscus left knee. Both partial and I let heal on there own ama. Knees feel as good now as they ever have. Attributing that to ass to grass squatting

 

Took about 4.5 minutes off my 3 mile run this month. I'd like to think my cardio is getting better but I think it has to do with I'm no longer running in 95 degree weather at 98 percent humidity.

Also anyone think 5 sets of 20 pull ups and 20 chin ups is too much throughout the day? Climbing season is approaching.

 

Nice work on the running. Shaved over a minute off each mile! As for the pull up/chin up you mean ten sets total? I'd say that's pretty good. If you're use to it, it's not too much. Keep at it

 

Squats are NOT bad for your knees. Not squatting is.

leg day this morning. pre-workout was a pop tart and 1/2 scoop of Hyde.

squats: 4 sets
feet low leg press: 3 sets
feet high leg press: 3 sets
lying leg curls: 3 sets
seated leg extensions: 3 sets
calves and abs

Doing upper/lower this week, so I'm gonna do legs again on Fri or Sat

How does it mix? And also how is the taste? I wanted to try the ON stuff to see how good it is. I bought some wal mart cheapo six star stuff and its horrible. Clumps with milk. Jsut terrible for 18 bucks. Just wanna finish it quick and try something else.

 

In a rush to get out the door yesterday morning because I still felt like shit after the weekend of debauchery in Virginia Beach, I forgot to pack my water bottle and gym clothes in my gym bag. I didn't figure all this out until I got to the gym. I went to the front desk to see if they sold any cheap mesh shorts (it's a Gold's so they sell all kinds of overpriced bullshit), but they didn't. All they had was women's shots and yoga pants. Then I figured I would buy a water bottle, but it was 15 bucks for a reusable one, and 3 bucks for a fucking 24 oz. deer park, so I passed on that too. At this point my only option was to just say fuck it and roll with what I had to work with. So, having no water bottle to mix it in, I dumped a scoop and a half of preworkout into my mouth and went to lift in my khakis and oxfords. I planned to squat and bench but squatting wasn't gonna happen in Dockers and Cole Haans, so I did chest and back, and still had a sick workout. Definitely got some interesting looks from the other lifters there.

 

Should have bought the yoga pants LOL they are great for squatting
