Had a dratini pop up on my nearby this morning while I was walking my dog. I know their common spawn spots in my neighborhood but I was already past them and didn't really want to circle back unless I knew it was there so I pulled up fastmap to see. Of course it didn't show anything near me because it sucks but for some reason it showed everything that was like 2miles away from me including a Lickitung that had about 4min left on it. So much regret in looking

 

This guy popped up on my nearby at work, checked out pokemap and he was across the street at the pokestop, was hoping for a higher CP

Bubblestrat: How useful is it for you guys? Worth spending the time at a gym just to get the XP? And once you cap out the gym level, do you still get XP for defeating the pokemon in there?

Wouldn't be me. I have what I call a Pokemon go survival kit. It consists of a battery pack and a Glock 43.

 

I drove through a park one night at like 9:00 that was supposedly a Pikachu nest. I pulled in the parking lot and this group of not so friendly looking folk took off running. There were no Pikachu and I wasn't trying to hang out to see if one popped up. A bulbasaur did pop up so I got him on my screen and GTFO of there and caught him down the road. I don't even like Pikachu

 

I did, ew regular pokeballs? No thanks

 

Not worth it unless you have a big group, I get more xp by going to a good park that has a good variety and using a lucky egg
