How hard would it be to switch a synthetic line onto a steel cable winch?

Eh hard to justify for me since I don't really plan on adding too much more that needs switches and power

I ran a mictuning switch for this one because I wanted to stay as OEM looking as possible

Buy one with steel now for windrock then get one of SEO synthetic winch lines and add it on after the trip sometime. $320 verses $500

    Use a relay!

I wasn't thinking about amps and watts when I installed my light and wiring the first time, and burnt the circuit board of a Aironboard Bat Lights switch

I'd buy the winch now, run the steel until it kinks or splits and then swap over to syn

true but you will spend more in the long run . i paid 250 for my winch with steal but to put syn line on it it will cost me 225 so really i could have just bought the syn line winch for 400 to start with
