Man those wheels are

Reminds me of stock FJ80 wheels, though SCS prolly does a much better wheel

Are you going full Icon pack or just AAL?

Thanks Nate, appreciate it. Yeah, they look so much better in person like everyone says. Even the wife loves them and that's saying something :)

King coil overs up front, billies in the back, Icon AAL. I think that set up will do nicely for me. Kings are on backorder so just waiting for them to ship.

Did you find that if you put it in with the collar too far out it would lock up the axle? I tried to have the collar at the very edge so the seal would ride in the middle and the collar would make contact with the inside of the axle and lock it up. I had to settle for a not as centered line unfortunately. I also had to gap out the ABS ring separate from the collar so it would ride in the right spot too. Toyotas redesigned seals really make it more complicated than it needed to be.

Don't count on Toyota doing it right either since they fucked up @Reh5108's but at least then its got a warranty.

I didn't find that out personally, but I def heard thats what can happen. And yes the new seal design makes it more complicated, I didn't end up with mine riding perfectly in the middle, just close enough I guess. The one weird trick I tried and seemed to work was flipping the last retainer around so the bevel faces towards the wheel and not the axle:

    IMG_0904.jpg

That way you get more seal to retainer contact without it hitting the housing....theres a good writeup somewhere that was pretty convincing of this trick. I've got 500+ miles since the operation and everything is dry

    Fuck :annoyed:

I think I saw that on TTORA, if I could find the correct size pipe I'd probably try and "press" it myself then. Along with the concrete method but wrap my axle up like a mother fucker

I'll be going to the store on Friday perhaps. Did you have to cut all that shit off or did the concrete method take it all off?

I cut it all, takes no time with angle grinder and small dremel too. The main little bitch is that snap ring though, get that out and you prolly could smack it all off
