I just saw this on a Toyota group on FB. Just posted. Posted it in the ham and cheese thread as well.

I inquired about location and what will be taught... Whether it's just test prep or if it will delve into off road applications and will update when i hear back.

"Northern Colorado Amateur Radio Club is putting on an Amateur Radio Technical level class on Oct 29 and Nov 5; this class will run both days with testing on Nov 5 for all who would like. There is no fee for this class and we even supply lunch for everyone who attends, instructors must bring a sack lunch lol!

This is a first come first service however there is room of approximately 60 students, so to sign up please reply back to this email or send me a note to treasure@ncarc.net. Hope to see you there."

"The class will be at the Poudre Valley REA building near the I-25 Windsor exit. It's a class being held for the 4x4 community, but I believe it will focus on the Technician test. I'm not the class organizer, so I can't say for sure if APRS will be covered specifically."

this thread fills up too fast..... yes it is possible to not be able to own one. the pathfinder 2 has animal and pedestrian recognition. highlights them in yellow boxes. and its not to hard to make adjustments to make it portable. also would need to do paperwork as it is registered to my trucks vin. basically they dont want to see this camera over in the middle east being used for other purposes.

Trial and error, best way to learn, and its much cheaper these days in a sense, when I first picked up a camera it was a 35mm Minolta film camera my dad gave me for my 11th birthday, the digital age has helped out a lot, and you can see instant results. Back then you HAD to try

Interesting. Well it's on my wish list, so let me know. Cheapest new full setup I've found is $2k. Not much on the used market other than damaged stuff.

Hopefully just the break sensor switch. The truck just cuts out all the sudden under throttle and then come back with no reason. Brian thinks its the sensor, thinks its thinking im hitting the breaks while the truck is under power like the accelorator is stuck so it cuts power. When the accelorator pedals sticking recall happened aperently they coded this feature into it so you dont get screwed over.

@thefatkid don't let him tell you when you can take a break from working on his brakes. He ain't your boss.

    Yah:pout:

I bring it to him while he is working so he can make money on it and he goes and says that. I never remind him that his shop is not done or anything like that so i dont know where all this abuse is coming from.

Maybe something changed him when he was looking at pics of trannys going to the bathroom last night. :notsure:
