The trip average isn't really going to be accurate for a 2 mile trip. Post the tank average when you're down close to empty I bet it will be higher.

This was from the computer. Need to verify a full city tank the good ol' fashioned way. I did verify the hw mileage at 15.9.

A month on a tank of gas sounds like short trips, low efficiency, and truck not getting up to operation temperature. Short trips, stop and go, and idling kill mpg's like nikki Santoro stabbing someone in the throat with a fountain pen, brutal.

I saw close to 2mpg increase but I also had my transfer case replaced pretty much at the same time.

Short trips are always crappy mileage. Always. I got 8.5 MPG this morning on a short drive.

Im gonna have to do the math with my tank on fill up. I dont trust the truck to give accurate readings. But it does say I will get 350-400 on a tank of gas, its really confusing cause I fill up at like 18 gallons, so thats like 19 mpg... I would be totally fine there

Are you guys calculating for the miles your truck is actually going with the bigger tire? Whatever % your speedo is off is what you need to add to the miles on the trip that will give you an actual reading of miles per tank.

If there is any improvement or degradation it is negligible.

TRD LB with fiberglass shell 2 adults, about the same . 20.7 with AC on 22.3 without AC rural hilly highway. Was down to 19 at first and worked its way back up over the next 1300 miles.

edit, I just remembered I put a hood bug/wind deflector on between my TSB . I did not want to have the hood flexing blamed on a hood deflector. They already sent me to a body shop. When I went for the trans TSB and complained my hood was still not fixed after the body shop added foam , they readjusted the hood stops . This did not fix the flexing either. I fixed the hood myself.
Maybe the hood deflector is the cause of my gain in mpgs. Any way All is good now .
