I got a good dose of what its going to be like today.

210 miles with the new tires and skid plates. Plus a four wheeler and a bunch of gear. No matter what i did 17.5mpg and no better.

Oh well. Only going to get worse. I'm sure i can still push 20s on my normal set up with the bed empty, seening as how i've been getting 17.5 in mixed driving since i put these tires on.

So here they are. Got 5 put on Friday evening. 235/85-16. Unplanned circumstance gave me 4 new non-coopers so I got the ST Maxx as large as I could without a lift. A little more noise on the freeway. Can feel the heft of the tires. Definitely need a lift with beefier springs and front struts due to size and weight.

That's what bumpers are for. Nothing wrong with a little butt bumping every now and then

I think it has to do with the asymmetrical tread pattern.

Mine don't. Seems like small tire problems.
