Honestly, I have had stuff like that happen. Three or four 320-330 attack players all going ape shit on me and I skate out with no shield but still alive. Unpossible.

I prefer to have one of my teammates step in front of my rockets and blow all of us up.

If you want to piss people off in Crucible and you get a heavy ammo drop, bum rush a group in tight quarters and blow everyone up, even yourself. LoL Pretty dick move.

I'm a fan of the tether. Nothing like someone popping their storm trance as you're trying to get the heavy then hit them with the tether and light them up. Or tether the lot of them at a heavy and one of your fellow Titans comes in and cleans them up with hammers.

Do people realize that they can shoot the tether?

Doesn't help much when you've got a hammer tossing Titan inbound. Or when you pop your hammers/blade dancer/storm collar and then get hit with a tether. Usually if you can kill the hunter and no one else is coming in to wreck shop it's easy to shoot the tether.

One IB match we did on pantheon the whole other Fire team was huddled around the heavy as it was spawning. I tethered and my buddy followed me in with his hammers. Destroyed the whole Fire team in seconds and it was priceless.

In that scenario yes, but I've seen some clutch plays in 1v3 Trials where the guy shot the tether and escaped

Personally I hate PvP and avoid it like the plague. I'll run IB with. Few friends and hope for the palsy team to come in so I don't rage. What I despise about PvP is when you go in and your pretty fairly matched. It's a close game and you're up just a little then all the sudden 1/2 the other team starts glitching out and you can kill them. I've made it a point to check the connection status as we start and when they start glitching they've usually gone from solid green to dead red.

Well, today was a pretty productive day. Started playing at 6am. My impressions of the expansion are pretty damn positive. The art design team did a great job as the game is huge and very well detailed.

Finished the story line and the sword is nice.

Got my character up to level 351. I can see now there is a bottleneck after you hit 350 as armor / weapons do not drop at a very high light level after 350. Maybe one level above what you are currently using. Getting to 385 is going to be a lot harder and time consuming but it's cool as the new areas are fun.

Got all the major weapons I wanted on the first day.

Got The Khvostov 7G-0X and the shader to make it all black.

Got the shader for The Trespasser

Got 2 GH's. One at 340 and one at 351

Didn't get the shader that I wanted for The Truth but it still looks cool

And I'm one tick away from 352

Got almost half the book done and all my crucible weapons leveled up to 350 or higher. I will say one thing... The Khvostov 7G-0X is absolutely one of the best / funnest guns in the game. It has so many variations it's unbelievable. Can't wait to get it completely leveled up tomorrow.

Arkons Forge is a blast and you get some pretty good rewards out of it. Got almost all of the fragments so I only need to find a few more. Climbed the mountain in the social hub and just generally had a blast playing all day with two friends. There is a lot to explore and uncover in this expansion so I look forward to getting all of the things I can get out of it.

Oh... and the unlimited sprint artifact is unbelieveable. No sprint delay and you can slide around corners and stand up and still be sprinting. Don't know how I'll ever live without that on my character.

The strike at the end of the story mission with the ogre missing his eye was fucking hilarious. I can't imagine what that strike will be like when it's the NF lol.

Ah... one more thing. I've got enough armor / weapons stored up for my other two characters to start off the storyline at light level 350. So getting them up to 385 should be a breeze.

    Yeah.
I got the first story mission done, pretty hairy at the end by myself. Out until Sunday, though, so will fall behind everyone once again . . .

Played the 1st mission and a few strikes just to drop some gear. I got a 340 patience and time. We will see if i keep it or use it to bump something up.

Dropped quite a few pieces and started bringing all my gear up into the 337-340 range.

Also, need to run VoG for the next part of the No Time to Explain exotic.

I'm up to 343/340/340 on my toons. Started playing yesterday around 6pm so I managed to get the story done and open up the other quests. Started the khustov quest too but I think it glitches out because for and hour straight I only got 3 pages of the manual.

Probably get on this afternoon and crank some more stuff out

That's weird? We all got our pages within about 15 mins of just killing adds.
