This time the DPSM from Toyota is coming to see it. Hopefully this means my vibration, transmission and BSM issues get looked into unlike last time. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Good luck. I have a field tech on the way for my failed transmission.

Well, according to Corporate Toyota our trucks are supposed to vibrate during deceleration from 25 mph. I was really hoping that maybe I'd get a fix.

Fuck this, and fuck Toyota. I'm done with this company.

That is weird. Mine does not vibrate when decelerating from 25 mph. What is their explanation for this?

It's fucking bull shit. I thought at least the corporate tech would work to fix my truck. Apparently corporate Toyota is full of the same jack asses they have on a dealership level.

I am sorry about your experience. I know the feeling. Can you describe the vibration you are getting in detail? What provokes it? What do you think the cause is?

Any time I'm decelerating. It doesn't matter if I'm coasting or braking, 4WD or 2WD, in gear or neutral. Others have posted Toyota fixing their vehicle and the fixes vary. I was hoping Toyota would step up to the plate, but I guess that's for fools and idiots.
    Yes.

Seriously though, if you do private party are you going to divulge this to the potential buyer?

I have this too. The driveline angle is out of spec. No official 3rd gen fix yet, but it will prob be like the 2nd gen fix.

Wow, just read your fiasco with Carson Toyota. Is this the same truck you waited on twice?

I got frustrated with Toyota after some nightmares with a 2012 Tundra I had.

    Then I bought a Mercedes.

I am RUNNING back to Toyota and can't wait to get my TRD Pro. Dear god, Toyota problems aren't even problems. Not even close.

Only problems I ever had with my rangers was IACVs going out, a cheap part that took 20 minutes to replace once every 75k miles. They didn't vibrate, miss shifts/slam into gear, have hoods with problems or any number of other issues. Piss poor quality is an understatement.

I rode in a GMC Canyon diesel. NICE ride.. Obviously not a Tacoma, but for what it is it was really nice. Well equipped too.

If I grow tired of my Tacoma I know what I'm getting. Local stealer has one for $43,500. Shit the guy said he was getting 25mpg on the road with his. That's 8mpg better than my truck (when it was stock). That diesel premium would pay for itself in less than 4 years considering how much I drive a year.

These vibration issues do seem concerning, I'm sorry you're having problems. I'm taking a gamble and buying a TRD Pro Tacoma sight unseen. We'll see how that works out I guess. But it can't be worse than the issues I have faced with the damn E550 I just got rid of. That thing was a nightmare of epic proportions. From a reliability, cost of ownership, and dealership/service perspective... I'm never going German again.

I hear ya. I came back to Toyota from a buggy, haunted, cursed 2010 VW. Haven't had a single noteworthy issue in 3 years.
