Definitely! Well actually, you've got me beat by far. HC rear bumper, front bumper, king coilovers and 12" kings relocated out back... I'm way behind:devil:

I wrapped it right away and I don't think it's causing any problems. The stock crossover point looks like it's just as likely to heat the gear oil, so I'm not really concerned about that.

Stay away from exhaust wrap. It's a mess when dealing with mud. A thin galvanized shield works great.

I'm pretty sure it was $500 for everything. cat-back piping with a tip, which I've since cut off.

I would think it would work because it doesn't hang lower than the frame. Not sure though.

That's what I used. It's started to come apart a little in one spot, but hasn't been an issue yet, and I've gotten pretty muddy. I always clean the underside of my truck right after wheeling though.

My Pelfrey bent on me after the last outing. I also think it is unnecessary large.

Most of these transfer skids have a lip on the rear that goes up a few inches. That's what kept me from really going for the pope reroute

Oh, and I'm picking up my truck right now! Yay, no more driving a shitty Volkswagen rental.

Of course we are too busy to go wheeling for about a month... So..

Hard to tell from the picture but did you hit the bulge that pops out for the stock exhaust? Looks like that piece hung up and thus bent the skid. Steel or aluminum?

I too would like to see that up close. Crazy stuff.

Yes. I got hung up a couple times at the exhaust cross-over, then came down hard a few times. It did its job. Looks like it can be hammered back into shape. All steel.

It bends where there's a cutout for the exhaust pipe since there's no bent lip there to give it strength.

That flange area will bang right back to form. Also, as @fishfinder mentioned I've heard great things about glorified welder.

Ok so I pretty much got it squared away with yodamaster. They're gonna do a housing rebuild, arb locker, compressor, and 4.88 gear change. I have a question for you guys though. I am getting ahead of myself? I don't have any rock sliders or armor on the truck. Am I realistically probably gonna bash it up and no longer be able to daily it? Just trying to plan so I can get out there!!! Lol

I bought Kings before I bought anything else... All I can say is, it's your truck brotha, do with it what you want! IMO you probably won't be able to do too much damage as a stock 2wd, so getting that done is a good first start. I still don't have sliders or armor other than my stock front skid, and probably won't have any for at least a few more months. No armor means you just gotta pick your lines more carefully!

4.88's on a 2.7 and an arb locker with compressor and not even a lick of armor or bigger tires. Ken, are you sure your name isn't Kyle?? I feel like I'm being fucked with. haha
