One side down. Plasma makes removing factory rivets so much easier.

I regret not learning how to weld... I had a Lincoln 140 setup but never took it out of the box. Ended up selling it to anther TW member.
I think I need to step up and finally learn.

Ah. I was going to say that TIG is not typically used for structural welding or gas line welding, so I am unfamiliar with any certifications using TIG. My brother(not the one that IS a welder) was certified when he was a carpenter/millwright and building the Pepsi plant in South Plainfield. But only for the work that was required at the plant using MIG on stainless.
My best friend is certified on gas lines from 2"-12" using stick.

I've never used a plasma cutter. I've always wanted one though.

Plasma has limits. But it is nice that you don't need to buy gas. But the consumables cost can add up. Very good for thinner material.

Did a little logging / stump pulling with the Taco. Ended up pulling 6 stumps and one tree.

    image.jpg
I was just trying to put tension on this tree (the small Spruce next to the big tree) so I could notch it, back cut it, and get it to go where I wanted. But, every time the line got tight I heard cracking. I noticed that it was breaking about 2' from the ground. So, I just pulled it over. Then I cut the roots off and winched the stump out. Karen has a video of this. I need to upload it .

I was gonna make you an offer on my Lincoln SP-100, but apparently it is a damn good little welder and still fetches a good price used
