Tonneau cover letting water in!

Open my tailgate up this morning and noticed a pretty good amount of water in the forward part of the truck bed. The one i have is the roll up Velcro type. The only thing i can come up with is to get a hose and spray the cover, and find where its leaking in from. Has anyone had the same problem? if so, whats the best way to fix? thanks

 

Weather strip along the head liner (might take two layers). Black silicone along the seams between the tonneau rails and the bed rails will seal those up pretty good.

Corners are the hardest to seal...but it can be done.

 

Mine lets water in through the front. Haven't found a way (or cared enough) to fix it. My Tonneau is just used to keep things from the immediate elements. It doesn't let in enough water to drown anything but it does let in a little. My suggestion if you want something water proof, get a camper or something more sealed.

 

Another idea- Get a bed mat and then the water will run under the bed mat and keep your stuff drier.

 

Yeah, most of the time what little water gets in runs down the troughs, so my stuff hardly gets wet.

I've had this type of cover on my old truck and didn't have any issues with leaks. Im in florida at the moment and this morning, it really came down!

 

Mine has 2 small holes in front of the bed on either corner. Im guessing that is what they are for. Most of the time though I have to clear em out because they get clogged with any type of debris.
