In case you did not see it, there was no Canyon in the race in the BS TFL video that YOU posted, you're grasping at straws now.

Go buy a Canyon and watch it fall apart if you'd like.

I know there was no Canyon, I was just giving you a reference. There are no 1/4 mile times for the new Ridgeline yet. You think the Tacoma would beat a Canyon in a 1/4 mile race or what?

Your posting of an instrumented test by a nationally known magazine, carried out with $$$$$$ high precision test equipment, does not match my preferred reality.

Therefore, I reject your findings in favor of my own magazine numbers that lean my way.

Tfl is really rather impartial. If they don't like something, they'll tell you - often to their own detriment.... Car companies have stopped giving them cars to test because of bad reviews they've received ....

That being said I don't give two rats asses about 0-60 or quarter mile. I bought a truck to get me to work reliably and efficiently, not drag race at stop lights like an ass$&@!, and let's face it- the 3.5 is more fuel efficient than the 4.0.

I tend to agree. Evidently the new rule is that if you have owned two Tacoma's in the past you're still a troll if you dare say something that someone doesn't like here.

Exactly. I just posted this as a sort of ha ha thing but apparently it really gets some people upset. Who cares if the new truck is slow. I wouldn't want the thing for it's ability to knock down stellar 1/4 mile times. I want it for it's ground clearance, off road prowess and reliability. I'm just waiting for the bugs to be worked out.

Saying something detrimental, especially when the word "Ridgeline" is involved, is akin to stomping on a fire ant mound here.

I was only pointing out that TFL does not do things the way they should, this is the second time that they did this on the 3rd Gen, regardless if it is on purpose or not, if they are going to do a review it should not deceive anyone in any way.
