i'm pretty sure both these tires are 10 ply with 3 ply sidewalls.

 

So is there a hard yes for meet on 28th or 29th? Bar Louie or wing factory or old school Hooters chantilly?

 

I'm almost positive that there is no such thing as 10 plys anymore. The ratings now a days are based on old bias ply tires that used to actually be 3, 6, or 10 ply. Modern radials do not use the "ply" system. The C, D, E refers to weight rating now instead of # of plys like it used to.

 

I would really love to meet at the hooters in chantilly, but I got a feeling that wont happen.

where do you work in chantilly?

 

The shop had trouble balancing my KO2s with weights, so they put bags in em. Took like a week or so for them to settle but now I don't have vibration problems. I did some research and read some people saying I shouldn't need bags in 33s so maybe it was just the shops machine. They're working fine with the bags now tho so not bothering me and don't feel like spending money to have another shop try.

And pretty sure Fredericksburg isn't northern va...

 

Geographically ffx, loudoun and Arlington arent. Northern Va either though, they're more northeast.
Plus Fredericksburg is awesome

Yep you are right. I think people still think of the ply ratings as a comparison. Like an E rated tire would be equivalent to a 10 ply tire. All I know is the E rated tires have a nice solid sidewall, at least my km2s did. I gashed a sidewall of one on a rock and it didn't go flat. I was able to stick my finger in the gash, all the way to cover my whole finger nail.
