I don't have much experience with engine bays like what product is safe to spray and where. To be on the safe side...I just use a damp cloth and some degrease and just wipe on wipe off areas I know is safe. I stay away from electrical just because sometimes you can do more harm than good if you don't know what and where to spray.

Were you referring to the dry concrete from copernicus or Maximilian's problem?

If it's dried concrete...it's a bit dangerous to recommend claying... there's danger in trying to remove dried concrete like sand and then using spray lube and rubbing the clay while the potential of scratching the shit out of the paint. If I had that problem...I would pick and it with finger nail until I removed as much as I could...then wash again and then clay...I would use spray lube through out the whole removal process.

Clay is very good... I painted in the garage once and got overspray all over my car. Clay picked up all the paint over spray...I could tell because I can see the paint color on the clay. But this is fine mist... not sure about claying chunks of concrete...sounds like bad formula. You can do it if you are careful...but I would recommend against it.

The use of a clay bar is referring to the lime deposit on the windshield not the concrete splatter...

Does anyone have experience using 303 on Wet Okoles?
Seems like it would work and I'll test a small area first.

Looking to add some stain repellency and UV protection. I already have a bottle of wet suit shampoo and don't want to buy a kit from WO.

303 makes a fabric protector. I would use it versus the 303 tha can be used on interior plastic and rubber.

Yes I use regular 303 on almost everything. I read I few things that say the fabric protector will deteriorate neoprene.
Hoping to find someone that has used aerospace on neoprene. Thanks though

Why not get Wet Okoles fabric protector?

Only sold in a kit they told me. 30$ shipped and I have plenty of 303. I emailed the manufacturer and they replied definitely safe on WO

The 50/50 vinegar/water mixture worked surprising well for the concrete splash btw. I kindly took to it with a razor scraper and it just slid off.

Use a DA and polish the headlights out. Will need to seal the headlights once polished out.

I would skip the buttery wax. Americana is so much easier to work with and looks better. The new Americana is very similar to Wolfgang Fuzion now. Not totally sure but I thought I read on Adam's forum that Americana had better durability.

Paint sealant was my go to product until I switched over to coatings. Easy to apply and take off.

I've been cleaning cars for 15ish years and have pretty much exclusively used mothers, griot's, and 3m products.

Just now starting to explore other options.

I'm tired of the little white wax boogers from my mother's cleaner wax with carnuba. I'm looking for a wax and paint sealant that will not show any streaks, boogers, or fade my black plastics on my indigo ink truck.

    Recommendations are welcomed and appreciated!

Paint sealant topped with Americana is an awesome combo. Americana comes off as easy as it goes on. I can probably go over my whole truck in 15 minutes. Probably won't be good on plastics but I haven't gotten any on plastic to know.

You shouldn't see any streaks from either one. Paint sealant pops by itself on darker coolers. Be sure to apply thin.

One thing I like about Adams is the products are easy to use.

I've got water spots on my windows that I cannot remove with any RainX, claybar, or soap product... I've heard of detailers using 0000 steel wool to remove spots because it cannot scratch the glass.

Anyone have any experience with this or know how to get rid of hard water spots? This is only for glass, not the paint.

What are yall using under the hood??? I usually just wipe shit down, but my OCD wants more.

Also, pretty nervous about spraying water in there tbh.

I would not use steel wool. I believe there is a product by CRL that forum users have had good success with on here.
