    Yes
I just went and checked mine, it is labeled 0 but it is seriously for 8 gauge at best. When you use the 0 die on 4 gauge the crimp squishes out the side of the die...no way it would ever actually fit 0 gauge. Also make sure that you only use seamless crimps, if you use a seamed crimp it always gets squirrelly and comes out bad.

Anyone in the Clairmont or Mission Valley area available to meet up? I'm visiting/house sitting for a while and just want to get out for coffee, dinne, whatever.

Good to know. I figure to ask since hf stuff is hit and miss.

Whisky is delicious, but gets me in trouble.

You're welcome to try my HF crimper as well if that's of interest. I don't get up to Murietta often but I'm sure we can figure something out.

I'm in San marcos right off the 78. I'm only using it for some 2 gauge wire I believe. Gotta move my battery but I don't have a welder down here. Hit me up whenever and you can borrow it.

I just do this and heat shrink them, haven't had one fall off. Might be time for you to invest in a nice punch set. I get lugs from the local Napa, they always have them in stock. Might be different in your area.

Did you ask? They keep them in the back so the whole box doesn't just disappear into some shitheads pocket.

Just found a handful in my tool box :notsure:
Try a welding supply store? They generally have wire and ends for it.

Hi guys, I just got back from 11 days in Baja California with some extreme four wheeling along with three other Toyota 4x4s. I started a trip report here on TW, and it will be a few days to finish the report and chose the best of over 400 photos I took... not to mention the photos and videos of my other guests and travel friends. I have posted two of the 11 days so far: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-baja-extreme-2016.452058/

So you guys just use those. I have about 8 of them still. I thought they could only be used for solder. I did roughly the same thing with my current lugs. I wasn't sure if my method was good enough. So far it isn't giving my a problem so I figure to convert the other wire ends I have to a post. It's just kinda a pain to hit it straight. I also filled the lug with solder after I made my "crimp" because the sides seem to wiggle a bit. I just ordered my lugs off Amazon.

No. Just green sticker. This was the first time out. Susp test I guess. I spring a leak in the crossover little radiator hose. But overall I like it. I haven't ridden a bike in years. It was a learning curve for sure. Lol my buddy has a hook up for plating but I'm good with the sticker for now.

My goal is be retired from my irrigation business (installing/ repairing drip and sprinkler systems) and show people the beauty and magic of Baja, instead! This last trip I had a ride along (paying) client who wanted to go along with the other three Toyotas heading to Baja... and they liked my modified trip ideas that included many Spanish mission sites, Indian rock art sites, beautiful beaches, desert scenery, and great seafood!
