Dreamed today that I was wheeling some hilly park. Like AOP without the trees.

 

They call golf courses without trees "links" courses. Not sure what to call a 4wd park without trees.....Sounds like moon scape....

That was me. OBD Fusion is what I use on the iPad. Torque is what I use on my anrdoid phone.

Me. But I think I have a bad bushing. I'm going to stick a go pro under there this weekend to see which one

Bolt was starting to seize in one of my cams. Had to hammer it out. That's on a '15 at 30k miles.

Let me know how that goes. I'm gonna do some research to see how easy if a Fox it is. The dealership quoted me at 380 for new bushings, and an alignment afterwards.

Do you think it's something you should only replace the faulty one or pull all of them and antiseize the "good ones" ?

 

The stock bushings can't be replaced with stock bushings. What is the dealership actually quoting you to do? If you are replacing bushings, get polyurethane bushings, otherwise you need to buy new lcas. Also if you can get the cams out without harm to them then just wire brush them, put antiseize on them and reuse them. If not then buy moog ones. None of this is what I would consider hard work but it will take you a few hours to complete

Really nice quality product. Haven't been on the interstate yet to see what wind noise is like though.

 

Thanks for the info. The dealership just said to only replace the bushings. So far I'm thinking it's better to do it yourself. Seems like a lot of people with this problem end up cutting the cam bolts to remove them.

 

Did you end up replacing the bushings ? Yeah mines a 14 with 50k. Seems like a short period of time to have something like this happen

 

Yes. I put in Energy poly bushings.

Edit: not sure I needed them but I had arms off anyway to weld alignment tabs after they flattened and figured it wouldn't hurt to replace things while they were off.
