I agree. I actually saw someone on Instagram that had made this exact grill at home. Looked fantastic.

Quick thoughts for anyone jumping on these grills..

If the WHOLE pro grill assembly with color matched surround is $419.51 and the insert alone is $389.00 you may be better off buying the whole assembly and selling the surround later....may help recoup some funds! Those surrounds alone are selling from $75-$150. Or just keep the extra $30.51 surround to paint, customize.

Jordan do you think its easier, harder or about the same to order and get the whole pro grill assembly vs. just the insert? Maybe people ordering a mix of them would work better?

    Again, just some thoughts

Since I've got a quicksand grey theme going I wondered what a cement might look like on the quicksand............not a bad Idea JonWon  Certainly a small price to check it out.

Jordan if Jon Won is correct that it's $419 for the surround piece to be cement ---I'll take one of those. I sent you email from my work too. No rush.

At this point Jordan is like asteroids firing off in all directions at on coming emails messages phone calls

Well currently they have ZERO full grille assemblies with surrounds available. Otherwise I'd order those as well. Let me doublecheck with my manager if he thinks he might be able to grease someone down in L.A. and get some of the matching surrounds.

Its not looking good though :/ At least for those.

Oh no worries just a thought! I myself will probably stick with just the insert but thinking if it's spread out orders some full assemblies and some just inserts may keep Toyota from dropping that hammer lol.

My local dealer told me my wholesale price is $374.25 and msrp is $499. But they are backordered and 6-8 weeks out. I think im just to order a mesh one from customcargrilles and call it a day.

I hear you sir and I appreciate all you have done, but I think Toyota has its priorities in the wrong place. They are so concerned about non pro people ordering pro grills they need to place their priorities on quality control It is totally absurd the number of QC problems these trucks are coming with from the factory. Sorry about my rant it is not your problem but when you said Toyota is concerned about the number of pro grills being ordered it just struck a nerve with me.

    Thanks

Wholesale price is what a bodyshop or other wholesale customer would pay. People who have accounts with the dealership who buy a lot of product.

The price I'm giving of $389 is employee pricing.

That's really good actually. Considering how an equivalent aftermarket setup from fox would cost more than that. I'll certainly keep you in mind if I decide to purchase it. Thanks!

I believe this quote is for the 2nd Gen TRD Pro Suspension set up. How about the 3rd Gen TRD Pro suspension with the Fox shocks?
