    Not surprising. I don't know if they did something like this but that can be the best way to make sure the previous owner didn't cook the books and ensure continuity so expected profits are realized. Pay 1/3 to start, 1/3 after some period of time if expected margins hold, and the final 1/3 at the end of the agreement if the margins are still holding.

    Would make sense if Eccelstone stays till 2020 because thats when the existing Concorde Agreement between FOM and the teams expires
