Is anyone on here only running the Toytec 3" Front Spacer? Any things that are notoriously bad with Spacers? They are around $140..Here is the picture below...
Also, who has Spidertrax wheel spacers? They only offer a 1.25" Wheel Spacer and I think I might be able to get away with a 0.5" or 1.0" spacer with my stock 16" Alloys and 285s. Thanks![IMG]

I would not lift higher than 2.5 inches or even 2 for that matter if you are keeping your OEM UCAs

Ditch spacers and get something else. To fit 285/75/16's you will need at least 2.5" of lift up front and those spidertrax. Then only minor trimming.

So save until you have more money. Get an ome coil lift. Not much more.

It's not just a matter of price, or price difference. Those who choose to run simple spacer lifts often do so just for looks alone. It's no secret that coilovers are the way to go not only for the stability and durability of the vehicle, but for those who just want to go a bit higher and squeeze a larger tire on for asthetics only, spacer lifts often provide a greater cost versus reward ratio.

I know that's why I chose the spacer lift over coilovers. Granted, the 5100 option wasn't around when I bought my Toytec spacers.

So to the OP, I would suggest getting a set of Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks. They're right at the same price point, and you get a much better, more driver friendly ride out of them along with giving enough lift to squeeze some larger rubber in. The spacer lift does it's job just fine, but it's like having no shocks at all. It's stiff and jarring.

I understand that. I started with spacers too BUT if I had known then what I know now.... I would've saved up for the OME 885's and Billy's sooner. Which is what I run now and it is SIGNIFICANTLY better.

I'm not saying that I am going to do that. It just seemed like a good afordable spacer to fit those tires. Plus, it's from Toytec... So coils are a better option? Anyone have a link? Thanks.

Look at toytecs website. They have the coil lift on there too.

the spacer lift will be fine if ur not planning on wheeling it very hard, but it will ride very rough and u wont be able to get your alignment dialed in un less u buy some upper control arms. lots of guys on here are using the spidertrax. they are good if u wanna keep ur stock wheels

well my alignment is dialed in on my truck and i'm running stock UCA's. Also one thing you will need is to get a diff drop kit, otherwise your cv axles will be failing prematurely. Ride is not rough at all just so u know. I don't kknoow why some people are against this spacer. They probably have not had it on their truck and therefore don'[t really know how the ride is.
