No Im saying the install kits varies if you have over 10k miles we suggest you get the master kits if less than then you can go mini kit and be fine . The difference is the bearings after 10k they are harder to press off and require more work where your cheaper just to have new bearings. Gears will last hell 1 million miles I have 300k on my tundra and those are hard Baja and offroad pre running miles .

A new bolt here, a new bolt there, a new bolt everywhere.
No depending on the miles your vehicle has depends on how many components need to be changed during a gear swap. Since various components start to wear in a specific manner that mates them to other parts. Replacing one with out the other could cause premature wear you the new parts.

I understand but here lies (lies HAHA) the issues that i can make a dyno on the same vehicle show way different gains without doing anything!! I can make 10-15 hp out of nothing just through a quick calibration.

Now my biggest point isn't it makes power but more how the power-band in which the truck operates feels and in my opinion is a 100 times better. I Seriously have buyers remorse with my Tacoma cause its soooo under powered. But its not really under-powered its just how it uses the power is very inefficient at least to my driving style!

If you guys new me you would know I dont sell stuff that I dont believe makes a difference. I too am very skeptical on intakes and other stuff but that why I waited for a month to see if I had a difference of opinion.

I could easily take off and return but Im keeping it other than I hate the loudness that come with what Ive done! But hey maybe one day Ill get some time and strap to dyno and test but Im just having fun spending money on something else, I got bored with all my other toys!

Looking good  My front suspension is getting finished up today. Rear I am assuming is next either way just ordered me some King 16" 3.0 3 tube Bypass with Hose reservoir for the rear you go on my bed cage. Oh the wife is going to shoot me lol. Got a great deal on them, what can I say. Like my father once said it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission.

OK, so the intent of my point got missed. I'm not saying dyno data is meaningless. I'm saying that the arm-chair engineers will all bitch that the power bump is below the curve or that there could be absolutely no horsepower gain at peak, or something to that nature. A dyno graph only shows the alteration in engine performance from a specific point of reference, and never displays other factors such as drivability.

If there can be quantitative improvement displayed, then that's fracking awesome. If not, then so be it.

Lastly, I can't figure out you 3rd geners when you bitch and moan at Toyota for making a crap *insertwhatever@smitty99isbitchingabouttoday* but then start defending how there can be no better intake or exhaust.

I like the look of the new Raptor just not the sound of it. I will probably save the change and drop a twin turbo set up on my wife's if I can get her away a few days. lol I wonder if she'd kill me for that or thank me?:sorry: Sweet I was considering a BAC Mono before I got my Taco and started dumping money into it like crazy. bac-mono-6_1600x0w.jpg

My statement was directed towards the comment "Dyno sheets are just the rally cry for haters."

If wanting to see actual data makes me a hater..... well, I'm a hater.

Actually, a dyno graph can show information that affects drivability. Most people look at peak numbers.... area under the curve is important and the area in your typical driving engine speeds. I'd kind of like to see the effects of these mods before I were to buy into them. I can't just throw money at the truck, so every dollar is important.

I really just think that this is a mid sized pickup truck and it makes plenty of power for a DD. More low speed torque would be nice, but the engine really is alright stock.
