Wish these were made in a 295...I have 285's right now but want something a tad bigger and as good as these damn tires but that's not gonna happen. Gotta sacrifice something...either tire size or tire performance... Idk yet

What size wheel? Because they do make them in 295/70/17.

I wanted 285/75/17. Didnt want to go wider with the 295.. So stuck with 285/70/17.

AZTaco can you shoot a front and rear pic of your stance please? I'm looking at 235's seriously. I like the tall skinny look but typically it seems I see 255's mostly. Curious how skinny they look and alignment with the outside of the body. If you used spacers let me know.

Thanks-------looks great and most Definitely thanks for what you do!!

Finally got my 285 70 17s maxx on..........

Great tire, made for the Tacoma... Good ride and good handling.... Switched from the AT3s, a good tire but very stiff for off road...

They are a little softer but only over 75 mph, ok below that... I just have to slow down a little now...

Only had to air down to 26 psi for the dunes and could still drive on the road...

Much better traction on the dunes, only dug in a couple times when I testing how slow I could go...

So far I really like them.....

where I live here in va it's a great place to be in the foot hills of the blue ridge "mtns" (I learned very quickly what we call mtns are hills compared to what ya'll have) I'm new to the whole Tacoma seen and just getting to where I'd like to do some trail riding but there's not much offered here

They do make the st max in 285-75-17 now. They have them on the tread depot website. Pretty expensive but worth it. Probably what I'm going with next.
Nitto also just came out with their new Ridge Grappler in that size in a C Rated version. Don't know how much lighter they are but gotta be a little lighter than these E Rated tires.

Checked my tire pressure before i left this morning. Dumb fucks who reset my TPMS lowered the tires all to 29lbs

I knew something felt weird. I had them at 36.

too squishy and wandered? I feel like there is very small window that these tires ride well at.

even with their little quirks (pulling to the right, the PSI game) they still perform better than any of my previous tires. life expectancy is my biggest concern now. we shall see.

If you look again it's not in order like you would think. It's kinda near the top of the list instead of near the other similar sizes but it's there. Tread depot has em for like $285 a tire

Asked for front/rear photos. They look skinny, but are as wide as stock.

No spacers. Will stuff. No rubbing without lift, but I have not flexed it beyond a curb.
