The dakars are fully resting but it looks like I have another inch of throw in the shock if not more

 

CB channel 21. I'm sure most of the TW crew will recognize each other's trucks!

 

I wish I can go. I'll see if one of the engineers will cover me. What time it starts?

 

Had them on since mid summer, love them!

 

I'll be sure to take some. I'll be putting them in board of the frame, 80ish degree angle or so. You lose more shock damping ability less that 90degrees. I'm not trying to stuff 12" travel shocks in there so I should be OK.

 

Did you look into Billies 5125 for the rear setup?
I got mine from Wheelers and it took an extra week to receive.

After running with @Digiratus last weekend, Kings are on the short list...

 

I did look into the 5125s. They are a bit longer but the 5100s are valved for the tacoma and I loved the ride with the 5100s. Kings are the shit but im dropping 4 grand on lockers and gearing in Nov or Dec so it will have to wait. I'm pretty happy with the setup at this point.

 

This looks rad. Are you guys meeting together at a certain time somewhere

 

I've got a set of 5125's I think they are, for the rear.

 

I suggested meeting around lunch time, garb some grub and maybe a beer or two!

We'll be tuned in to CB channel 21.

No, I'm running blown out something or others. The shock bodies are hammered and they leaked all the oil out months ago. They're fucked.. I have the 5125s on standby.

 

Let me know how they run. I'm a huge fan of billies. I'm going to try to run this setup for at least a year then either step up to icons or kings. Gonna do the flip kit your running as well. Interested to see how long the dakars will hold up with it.

 

Dunno if I wanna buy a vehicle pass and partake with my stock rig. What else is there besides a teeter totter?!

I have 5100 up front and I think they are somewhat still full of oil and do an average job of suspension.
The 5125 out back are decent and soak up the bounce fairly well.

Fronts will get replaced with Kings 650 or 700 in the winter. Ill keep the 5125 out back...

 

I think the dakars will be fine. They do break in as I've noticed, and I wouldn't be afraid to let them go a little negative since they are flat running springs. After my shock relocation it's bump stop time. Right now the shocks are limiting my flex, bottoming out and what not, so I'll see how they land after the relocate and adjust from there.
