I don't want to use this thread to sell stuff so I'll spare the details other than I am moving and can't take my trailer build with a Tepui Gran Sabana on it. If you're interested you can PM me for details since we're close enough to meet half way. . . .

Guess it all depends on how many folks you need to stuff in there.

Only way I could justify the overhang is I am trying to have a party in my tent. CLUB OVERLAND....need to fit everyone it :)

I think this is an awesome deal and smartest way currently available to buy a Tepui.
But: items bought with those 20% coupons at REI are not counted towards your dividend.

For now, just a cig lighter plug extension through the back sliding window up into the tent. Gonna figure out a permanent solution tho

to many to list, check the build thread
Anyone looking to plug into a battery pack for light in the tent i bought this 3 days ago and so far am very impressed. Plus you really can't beat that price considering the version with just the battery and solar kit is $169 and this kit with the 250 lumen lantern is $159 from REI

the battery pack is USB only but adapters can get you to the connection you need

LOTS of wiring, dual battery setup, Solar charging system, with some random lights spread around here and there.
You might also want to check with Bobby and CVT. They make some poles that go from the overhang tube to the tent to keep water from pooling there. Just my .02

I picked this up about a year ago from Wallyworld.. $100 and has been one of the best purchases I have ever made.

It gets its power from charging off of 110v. lasts for daaaaays with heavy use. I use it to power our tent lights, charge phones, music players, power other lighting with either its 12v or 110 outlets. It jump starts vehicles (have used it a few times on others vehicles) and has a small air compressor. its a beast and I just throw it in the bed when we head out and I know Im good with power for 4+ days.

Granted, its not ideal.. I still want a dual battery setup with Solar on the roof to charge both, and have all my accessories ran off the secondary battery.

This works wonders for now though.

I have duals and solar. Only thing I'm trying to change now is with the panels that I used. Trying to upgrade now. But it has been great so far.

Yeah I've been eyein your setup for a while now. I need to just buckle down and start ordering everything I need and get to it. What panels are you wanting to change to? I've been trying to find one that will fit on top of my Plano case as best as possible.
