    It gonna look odd but functional. I like to keep it old school. Basically a cross bar welded above between the frame, and grade 8 bolts welded to the axle housing for the lower mount. Will need a ubolt flip after the shock relocation.

    probably going to have to run a relay that can handle the higher amperage and the switch be the momentary master switch

    The compressor comes with a relay so I'll use it. Just would rather have a simple, clean set up without all the hoohaw

    The wire is huge on it. The only kind of switch that can take that load is an isolator switch or a disconnect. Use a relay

    Run it thru the relay. It's not as much hassle as it seems, and mucho protection for your Elec system. Plus, truck fire and back country= bad.
    Where are you mounting the pump? Mine is behind the drivers side back seat. Wasn't much hassle to extend and run the harness. The twin fits there too.
    If you want to make the trek to Auburn, would be happy to help wire it. Or can provide pics.

    Run the relay and keep it in the engine bay some where.

    Run a single, small gauge wire thru the firewall to the switch in the cab. You don't want to bring 40 amps into the cab and certainly don't want to put that much power thru the switch.
