Anyone else have a problem with their sun visors not being tight against the headliner. I know it's pretty trivial but I do like to use them to hold my mail or other fairly thin things from time-to-time and can't because they hang down about 1" or so. I don't remember them every fitting tight against the headliner and actually thouight I saw a write-up or TSB on this but searched and didn't find anything. Thanks...

I'm going in for my rear spring TSB and am gonna sit in a 2010 and if the sun visors are tight I'm gonna make them give me new ones. Just sick of getting hit in the forehead with Netflix movies!

I have an '06 and mine stay in place, albeit not tight against the headliner (like I wish they were)... But they don't drop down on me at all. It's probably because I hardly ever use the things.

I have an 07, and I noticed that they have more "wiggle" than I care for when they are up. I will have to sit in a '10 at my next oil change.

09 and not a droop or a sag..I never use them though. SO they have basically been in the same position since I got them.

I have an 07 and I had to take it off because it hung down in my way. I have read other forums and this seems to be a problem with a lot of Toyota models. Is sounds like they will replace it if it is within the warrantee period. I will go in soon to check.

Had the ones on my 07 replaced under warranty. Basically if you use them they will begin to sag, if you don't they won't. Mine started to rattle and pop while going down bumpy roads. They replaced them but they still aren't snug against the headliner.

My '06 droops and when I pull it down to use it, it wont stay against the windshield where I put it. I wants to hang down where it blocks my vision so I end up not using it. Guess I've been too lazy to do anything about it.

    None, yet.
There is a metal bar that runs across the front top of the visor. If you grab it near the pivot and in the middle of the visor, and bend it up it will fix it. The metal bar inside, that is like a hinge pin, needs to be bent up towards the end. I should do a youtube video. Get two pairs of channel lock pliers. Grap the front edge of the visor near the outside, where the metal bar exits and attaches to the ceiling, take the other pair, grab the front of the visor 1/2 - 3/4 distance away from the other pliars, bend the metal bar inside the visor, it needs to be somewhat bowed or "U" shaped, it is this bend that causes the visor to stay in the up position.

RESOLUTION: Had new ones installed today at the stealership. Four screws -- 2 on each side -- and that took 1 hr 15 mins and I had an appointment. But, they were swapped out under warranty and they are great now so I'll stop complaining. :)
