Hey so, I've tried the search feature so don't bother mentioning it sarcastically please. I'm looking for an alternative to the Morimoto HID bulb replacements for my 2016 since I've read so much about the shaking and radio issues. I just want the bulbs to be white and bright. I don't care if they're HID, LED, or whatever. I'd like to do the high, low, and fogs. Thanks in advance.

I did the H11 to H9 Mod, using Hella 2.0 bulbs. I am very happy with the results.

H11 fits highs? Ok, but will it be high beam with the same bulb?

oh and something I found when putting in the LED bulb. need to remove the top screws of the headlight because you have to pull the headlight forward like 1/16th of an inch for it to slip into place to clear the heatsink on the low beams

When it comes to my truck I'm not risking buying no name products. You don't know the quality of this product. It says 3 year warranty but I doubt it.

    I didn't.

$300... Holy shit! You don't need to spend that kinda money on LED lights.

Thats fine. I will enjoy my savings using the same bulbs as you. You really think any of these sellers are using anything but the exact same chinese bulb every other person is they are just having some custom look to them when they place their order in bulk so it looks unique.

seriously $300 that is a joke. I will bet they are no better then any of the $50 units you are just paying for that PIAA name which to me means nothing

I just installed the opt7 led bulb in my low beams in my 2016 Tacoma. They went in on about 10 minutes without unbolting anything. And the heat sink/fan housin cleared the metal piece behind the low beam. I can't wait to try them out tonight. I think they look great! image.jpg image.jpg

Not a perfect pick. But here's the opt7 low beams I got. If they stay working good for a while I'll go ahead and get the high and fogs.

Does anybody know how to aim the lights up and down? Or can you even do that?

Should I go with the opt 7s, or would I be better going with my other options:
Monimoto HIDs in the lows, monimoto LEDs in the highs and fogs. The opt 7s are definitely cheaper but I am assuming the HIDs are brighter. Any thoughts?

Lots of people have issues with the morimoto lights. Bright flickering and bouncing, radio static when they're on......

How about the opt 7 HIDs? I wonder how they would be?
