Thanks. So it looks like 50/50 on the spacers....Does anyone have any better suggestions? I love the Toytec 3" Lift all around, but it is $319. I would like the back lean so the spacers will do the trick for that. No off roading for me, just towing. Is that Coil that I sent the link on not provide enough lift for the tires?

I have had spacers b4 and they do ride rough and they CAN do damage to ur truck. anytime u preload ur springs they will ride stiff. whats ur plan for the rear?
everything im telling u is from my own personal experience. it may not be exactly the same for everybody. but with the stock uca's i couldnt get my truck aligned to specs and it rode like a pos! i hated it, it was all over the road! literally!

the eibach coils only give 1.6 inches of lift, not sure that will be enough for 285's

Well I would love that 3" lift from Toytec, but the budget cuts into things. Are there any coils that I could get for the front that will allow me to clear the tires?

I saw that, but why not pay $10 extra and get the shocks in the 3" Kit for $319? Any differences in the 2?

    Then save for this.
Or you can buy the first one without shocks and get 5100's all the way around. Either or you wont be disappointed.

Haha that is pretty expensive. Either of these are in my budget. I think the Billys won't give me the right lift/clearance I really want. Maybe though, who knows.
Do you suggest a small block in the back if I go with the Spacer in the front?

    Garret,

I will recommend you go with some coilovers up front and a new leaf pack and shocks in the rear. Having said that, I know you are on a budget, but you would probably be wasting your money on the spacer lift and block in the rear.

I would offer to lend you my coilovers with the 3" spacer and my rear 1.5" block so you could test it out, but I noticed that you have an 01 Pre-runner. So I guess, that's out of the quesiton.

Most guys will tell you to get the coilovers and a new leaf pack for the rear for good reason. They have been down the road you are going. All I can say is do your research and write down all the pros & cons.

Spacer lifts = are cheaper, get the job done but have some set backs. The worst thing with the spacer lift that I experienced were front end "Vibrations". It never handled the way I thought it would after the lift, my smooth stock ride was gone and I've been chasing that ever since. I did however love the way my truck looked.

Good luck, once you start you can't stop. :D

    Good point^
What's the rush? Do you need a lift asap? Save up and do it right. Even if it takes months and months.

Thanks Grande. The spacers sound like a rough ride. The problem is I really don't want to spend $600 and then $1200 on lift and tires...The job in High School won't get that done haha. Just looking for an affordable lift that is reliable. The coilovers would be amazing though. Thanks for steering me away from some downsides guys.
