Anybody got a throttle body bracket for a 2nd gen 3.4L SC that will fit a 1999 4Runner? I'm looking for the bracket with the 2 vertical prongs that are offset...

I thought the OP was on island? That price is astronomical! I keep checking that thread just to see if anyone buys it. You never know, suckers are born every minute.

 

Lot's of guys hating on the price and a bunch of guys saying it's a steal yet it's still for sale. The market will ultimately determine the true value.

I saw something on FB about a truck getting stolen from White Plains... brand new 2016, paper plates too. is this the one, or different? ditto what @k3v11n said, how are these getting stolen?? I kinda figured the White Plains one stashed a key in a lockbox on the truck.

saw this pic on stolen stuff hawaii and in the comments, a friend of this guy mentioned that he LIVES in makakilo, but the truck was stolen from "kalaeloa/barber's area". i'm guessing this is the one from white plains. hopefully he didn't stash a key in a lockbox. lifeguards there worked for months trying to get people to stop doing that. if you absolutely had to use a lockbox, they asked that you lock it to the fence right outside of their office (near the bathrooms).

Yeah, only worth what someone is willing to spend. The only selling point is the factory warranty, but IIRC, the warranty is only on the installation work. I think dealerships will only honor the power train when the dealership sells and installs the supercharger kit.
So, $7200 plus dealership installation will be over 8gs

Maggie with tuner = 6gs, plus cat back, y pipe, fuel pump kit, and a smaller pulley for ~ $1,200 more
Equals more fun than a stock trd with whatever warranty gets honored.

 

do they still give a third valet key? I took that one with me when I'd go surfing.

 

Not sure about the 3rd key for tacomas, but they did for my 4R.

Also, you would think that HPD would set up a sting where they leave a bait car in the lot with a lock box attached, have the "victim" go to the beach or surf, then stash a couple CRU guys waiting for the perps.

 

I never understood that concept, personally I would never advertise "free truck" by using a lock box hanging from my hitch.
