I'm also going to try to change my bearing/hub assemblies Saturday in the driveway. Wish me luck!

Also enjoyed a local brew for the craft brew week last night. A place called Gnarly Barley makes a Catahoula Common. Let me ask you Cali guys, how common is it to see a California Common out there?

They named it Cataholua after the Cataholua Leopard Dog which is our official state dog. If any of you ever have the opportunity to try it out, give it a shot. It's pretty great for an easy drinker.

Never seen it in Cali but I tried it when we went to New Orleans for jazz fest this year. Good brew.

I think I've only ever seen one other one too. It's funny how that stuff goes in phases. Around here lately sour beers have become popular, and also some Gose/Farmhouse ales seem to be around that we haven't seen before.

The only one I've seen is from Bottle Logic, in Anaheim. Sours are big around here, and obviously IPAs are absolutely everywhere. I'm a big sour/funky beer fan so I have no complaints! Although occasionaly I just want a damn good pilsner and it's hard to find. Noble Ale Works actually has a good one called Slammertime. Definitely a good day drinker

Whoa! That's kinda nuts! Have you tasted any of them yet? I'm really curious about the boysenberry.

Pickup period starts this Saturday. I'll be picking them up after work next week. Probably trading the apricot to a trading partner in new York.
I actually haven't had it, or if I have I can't remember it

most of the Firestone beers I've had have left me with a mild headache, like there's something in them that doesn't agree with me, so I've pretty much sworn them off.

Had a IPA last night from Bike Dog Brewery that was pretty darn good.
