What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I use the Turtle Wax Ice synthetic wax about 3-4 times per month and I love it, it smells good makes my truck look really shiny and clean. It actually says in the owners manual your supposed to wax it once a month or until water stops beading

My friend has a black Tacoma and uses synthetic wax and I've never seen residue from that, he waxes it once a week and washes it every day (probably because he works for a car wash company).

 

Yep every weekend, it's a love hate thing because it makes my truck look good but then I find new scratches and rock chips on it. I run it through the car wash everyday unless I don't have time that day or want to. I wash it for fun sometimes haha. I have an unlimited car wash pass for $40 a month so might as well use it

 

You wash your car everyday? That is dedication. I just washed mine this past weekend, first time in 9 months. I also felt like I should wax it, so I did.

 

I wanted TO find a better place... But, was so exited TO see it on.. That oh well... There it Is!

Power washed my poor floor mats. Big improvement!

 

I installed a reverse camera on my truck and wired it to the reverse light so it only gets power when I am in reverse. I was wondering if anyone has wired it to an accessory or something so it's on when the truck is on, or if that even works

Water always beads on my truck with only waxing twice a year.

It has been done. I think I've seen people hook it up to a constant source and wired it with a switch so they can see whenever they want. Seen a few people hook a camera up on their front bumper and did the same thing so they can see in front while wheeling

i modified it to fit somewhat... but the clearance on fenders wasn't cutting it for me. sold it, and the company gave me some money back... so i bought a brute force
that i literally just got done installing!
