Glad to see a couple of Mobile guys in this thread recently. I'm in west mobile myself near CH and Dawes. Saw a silver third gen earlier this week on airport with a lift and plastidip'd badges and was curious if it was someone here.

 

Random question for those that have derped their badges. How long does the plasti-dip hold up in the Alabama weather? Considering doing mine this weekend but some of the YouTube comments imply that they need to be redone every 6 months or so.

I have 1 12-15 grille that is already satoshi'd, but I have to redo the bottom due to some warping.

partgeek.com has 3rd party grilles at $90 + shipping if you want to get a raw one to work on.

I have a couple of the 05-11 grilles in various stages and styles.

The 2 4Runner grilles I have are for a 1998 body style. One is chrome and the other will need painted to body color.

I did a bull bar on my truck that did well for over a year and then it only had 2 small rock chips that showed the chrome. I moved a side door Tacoma badge onto my satoshi that went around 3 years and still looked good.

 

Oh ok, yeah I would need the same one as BamaToy. 03-09..

It's just a big thang they do there's a lot of local vendors that sell cloths knives and pretty much every thing in between If you have ever been to tannehill trade days it's like that but bigger and they have a parade and stuff my son loves going and of itself the wife loves it cuz of all the girly nicnacks they got but it's fun for me cuz of all the hunting and fishing stuff they have
