    My headlights do not flash when I lock the truck. Only the turn signals. All stock here.

    I just put the 2 Stroke's in and not really impressed, the signs and road paint light up great, but as soon as I'm moving, I don't find they throw very much light, debating on going back with my stock halogens, I'm going to give it a few more days to see if I just need to "get used to it". Too bad, from the others who have them, they seemed to be great, should have gone with my gut and gotten the HID's I think.

    Ah bummer! Mine seem to have a good wide spread on them and I at least feel like they are brighter than the halogens. They don't have a huge throw but I just kick the brights on if I need that. I live in the suburbs so its mostly city streets. Going to Payson this weekend so will really get to try em out in pitch black.

    Was thinking of this...VLED has these LEDs just for high beams...Im not thrilled about having 4 boxes up by my headlights though..2 for low beams and 2 for high.

    Sorry buddy I'm honestly not sure....I even searched Google for awhile and couldn't find squat. I had ordered the Morimoto Elite HIDs and didn't think they had Canbus..I returned em before trying em out.

    So I removed the lights, resealed everything and reinstalled, hid the ballasts up under some cover.


    I also switch bulb locations, ie the vibrating pass bulb is now on the driver side...

    Now both sides shake badly.....

    It would appear as if the 2strokes don't fit the Tacoma unless you dremel...

    Installed Morimoto 50w 5500k HIDs and LED fogs from TRS. Zero bounce. The passenger HID was a major PITA to twist in during install. Properly adjusted, nobody has flashed high beams at me yet after a month. Happy so far.

    all tore up already
    so on the fence with these. id love to swap my leds to high beams and go with hid for the lows, but im not sure i fully trust these. af's issues have me nervous for sure.
