My son picked up a part time job to help out. My daughter got herself into a biomedical research team. No money but puts her in touch with people she needs to know.

 

i can appreciate that but for me christie and the girls, for as much as they can frustrate me, are the greatest things that have happened in my stupid life

She's biomedical engineering, he's paleontolgy. They're both so smart I look like a blithering idiot....

 

Best part is when you beat a 428 cobra jet mustang and pass it on the turnpike while its being towed and your driving.

 

very smart moves in both cases. my oldest was too wrapped up with college soccer and too lazy to find an internship. the youngest has taken a semmester off and has had to get a job hopefully she'll learn

 

Come on ...spending it on them now just means they have less to inherit..

Inherit? We'll spend what's left on a tour of the US after they graduate. Then we get to spend 18 years living with them. Since we have two that's 36 years of free room and board
