Oh hell, your wife thinks I'm an ass. Just kidding.

I'm actually grateful for her help. She always drops what she's doing when I ask. Hmm, maybe it makes her feel important.

I am also looking at the mesh flooring version of a bajarack.

    how do you like it?

I have the bar version on my 4runner, It is okay, but I would prefer mesh because of the idea that I don't have to buy any accessories to mount my TREDS or pelican boxes. Just use a bolts, washers, and nuts thru the mesh openings.

It's wonderful. I have near infinite mounting points for gear, accessories, general hauling, etc. I can stand and walk on it when loading. My kids like it too. My oldest kid can climb up and down at will. Kids on truck roof rack, geat head turner in parking lots at the mall. ;)

You got my attention! Ive been using just the two rings in the side of my bed at the front. Might have to pick one of these up to put track at the front/bottom of the bed.

@Crom mentioned in an earlier post that they only slightly protrude from the ribs in the bed floor. Since you regularly haul you bike, you might consider adding two rows of these length wise to provide you with tie down points the full length of the bed in addition to the ones at the front and tail end. 360 degree tie downs!

Is it weird for someone to be anxiously awaiting the arrival of another person's bumper?

    Asking for a friend. :anonymous:

    Not at all!

I love it when others are building out their rigs. Especially when it's chronicled in their build threads. At times I live vicariously thru old posts, learn from their experiences.

I don't know when my bumper will arrive. I think maybe next week...

I've got a ton of work ahead of me between now and next 8 weeks, I'm going to try and break off some major updates probably the first week of October, cleared my calendar so I can get stuff done, lol.

    Here's what I have outlined

    TO DO LIST

    • Reinstall fully rebuilt rear drive shaft (waiting on DS shop) 9/21/2016
    • Install Front Brake Lines
    • CMC Cutting
    • L-Track
    • Seat bracket, quick release pins @crazy joker
    • Spindle gussets
    • CMC welding
    • TC Bed Stiffeners
    • Install Relentless Tailgate reinforcement
    • Cut Drivers bedside
    • Paint HC bumper (waiting on delivery)
    • Install HC bumper
    • ECGS Bushing
    • Install fully rebuilt performance factory LCA's
    • Install Bilstein 6112's
^This! Priority number one, fix broken stuff first, always.

I really need the bedside stiffeners both side have about 1" crack in the sheet metal folds. I think the shell is to blame...

Sounds like you have some work ahead of you. I usually enjoy the process of completing a modification as much as I enjoy the finished product. This is especially true when there is no finite deadline for completion. Having a separate daily driver vehicle takes care of that. I'm sure you are enjoying your car in that sense. I know I am. Good luck with your projects. We'll be waiting on your bumper. Ha ha.
