not a fan of the 6 or the 7, and it will be nice to not have to buy an apple specific cable to charge my phone.

I don't have apple cables to charge my shit.

The Amazon ones for $6 a piece work just fine and have lasted almost 6 months without issue. They are plenty more sturdy as well.

I just recommend keeping an apple cord on standby if you want to do any kind of computer/data transfer. Aftermarket cords can corrupt those transfers

    Yawn...
I disliked aftermarket lightning cables until I came across the 10 foot Aduro (fiber braided). I ordered it via Groupon. It lasts me a few months, even with all the abuse.

I agree on keeping Apple cables handy. There were issues in large data transfers with aftermarket cables - I always found this puzzling.

A little custom fab work for a customer. Tube placement is critical and they're incredibly particular on the appearance of all, especially the weld. 1 down, 1799 to go!

Thanks for the kind words & prayers. As you would expect my niece & nephew aren't handling it too well. We took them to a dairy farm in Pa for some home-made ice cream today then to Strasburg, Pa to see the trains and train garden. Just trying to keep them busy because my mom wouldn't want them sitting around crying & upset. I think today's lil trip helped them feel comfortable and they asked questions about what happened and we answered them. Some pics from today.

The train museum is definitely a cool place. Props for keeping them occupied, sitting around definitely dosent help.

Well the owner of that 4runner that's sitting at my work just texted me asking if i was interested in purchasing it tonight. He found the title. So i'm supposed to meet him at 10:30 to finalize the deal. Don't really feel like dealing with this now but it beats sitting around the house, i can't sleep anyway.

Agreed. Bring a few friends, other backup never hurts either.

I almost bought it last year when the lbj broke because he wasn't sure if he was gonna fix it. Just needed a lbj & axle. He asked me if it was mine would i fix it? I told him yea, cheaper to fix it compared to buying another vehicle.
