I want my A&P....Maybe I'll get that after I get the college degree and commercial pilots licence. The learning never stops!

Will do. Finishing up my last 2 classes for my CCAF (Associate's) in Aviation Maintenance Technology then gonna knock it out. I've been in the Air Foce a little over 7 years now working in Aircraft Maintenance, so I can take the test for airframe side now. Unfortunately my particular subfield doesn't qualify me for powerplant, so i'll take care of that on my own. Looking forward to it. I left active duty and transitioned to the national guard last year so looking forward to getting a job on the civilian side and seeing the differences.

Guard or Reserves are good, just make sure your employer is cool with your deployments.

By law, they are supposed to hold your spot, but it does not always happen and/or employment complications arise.

If you have airframe in the bag, try to pursue a civilian position in the powerplant field. That way you'll knock that requirement out.

Yeah, if I'm flying for the airline that won't be a problem. Not sure how it would work with corporate flying. I'll see as the time gets closer

...^^^... The MIL MI - 24 is a tough machine and can do a little of everything from small troop transport to heavy gunship and is fast for it's size.

The Russians even use the Mi-24 as a stationary gravity bomber, dropping old fashioned HE iron bombs ...

Maybe that is a Norton bomb site ?? ... this is not a "techno machine" ... o_O

    . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

I like this A-26 and it does a few low fly overs (fairly low for this aircraft - gear up).

Putting and supply support is very routine but it butters my bread

Woohoo! Love the rivets on the side of that C130 (I assume). I was just gonna ask where in CA that was. I'm planning to take my wife and 14 month old son to the Capital show. it will be his first. I better bring some Peltors for him. Blue Angels, , FA18 and F16 demos, B-29 FiFi, and Pearl Harbor 75th commemoration, for starters.

Yeah, it'll be a great show. I've had the fortune of being their photographer since its inception. If only we could do something about that blazingly hot tarmac!
