How are a box of Tampons and the Leafs alike? They’re only good for one period.

 

I swear in all my years in hockey I've NEVER heard that before... about referees, teams, coaches, players...

Name two ways the Leafs are unlike maple leaves.

(A) They move at one-octillionth the speed of frozen pancake syrup.
(B) They’ve decayed beyond human comprehension and smelled horrendous while playing over the last 50 years.

Wut. None of that makes sense lol.

(A) Maple tree leaves move as fast as the wind can carry them. Maple syrup is the slow viscous liquid you may of been thinking of and it is not the same thing as pancake syrup.
(B) The Maple tree leaves here are just falling now. They are fresh and a lot of fun to play with. In no way are they 50 years old,they are not beyond human comprehension (except perhaps yours), and they don't smell like anything.

 

Too bad I'm in Alberta. You know, a different province then Ontario. That's okay though. I know these concepts are tough for you.

Will team USA be invited to play in next year's tournament or will they try to replace them with a more competitive team like Norway or Kazakstan?

 

I think I remember seeing that a while back. Kind of sad that really that only Bauer and CCM are left on the equipment side now. It was great when there were at least a half dozen companies making gear. Lots of competition. This year, well, I had to switch to Bauer skates from Grafs because Graf won't be sold in Canada right away and I didn't want to be up shit creek should something break. CCM skates looked like a kids toy and RBK's are going to be discontinued as well.

 

They will merge with team Mexico and play baseball instead. It's called the Tim Tebow play.
